6 Functional description
By aerating the pneumatic cylinder, the jaws are pushed outward and the needles extend a defined length.
The workpieces are gripped by piercing.
The return movement is done by a spring and by de-aerating the pneumatic cylinder. To reliably remove the workpieces,
compressed air is blown through the needle slots during the return movement.
