3. If the extraction hood is going to be operated in extraction mode, you also
need to mark the opening for the exhaust hose on the ceiling.
4. Drill holes into ceiling in marked places in accordance with diameter of
dowels (not included in delivery).
Only for extraction mode
Before installation of the hood, wall breakthrough (core drilling) must be carried
out by a specialist firm. During planning of wall breakthrough, pay attention to
the length of the exhaust air hose. The exhaust air hose must be sufficient up to
the outside edge of the wall without any kinks.
• The length of the exhaust air hose is determined by the thickness of the
ceiling and the distance between the ceiling and the top edge of the extraction
hood X. Cut the exhaust hose down to the required length as not doing so can
result in considerable loss of performance.
Important!
If the exhaust air hose is routed through an external wall, the
air discharge must be covered on the outside using a cover with
automatically opening slots (not in the scope of delivery). For this,
commission the specialist firm that makes the wall breakthrough.
Installing the chimney
Important!
Only employ installation materials suited to the structure of your
ceiling.
For extraction and circulating air mode
1. Insert eleven screw plugs into the holes.
2. Mount basic plate to ceiling by means of bolts. Make sure basic plate is in
correct position.
