Battery Replacement
For the best performance and safe
operation, only use MIZ-21C
replacement batteries sold by Zetec.
To replace batteries, remove the
battery cover by releasing the
retention screw and lifting the cover
as shown to expose batteries. Ensure
to install batteries with correct
polarity direction as shown in the
illustration.
The MIZ-21C has polarity direction
icons molded into the housing as
shown in the inset as a reminder of
the correct polarity direction for
installed batteries.

The MIZ-21C uses specialized Li-Ion batteries for high performance and safe
operation. When replacing batteries, only use batteries designed for the MIZ-21C
and supplied by Zetec. Use of any other batteries may result in damage to the
MIZ-21C or personal injury.
