TEST OUTCOMES
The measured voltage is very low (almost 0VDC) when AC or DC power is supplied.
A. Remove the AC power source from the fridge. Check that the fridge internal wires, terminals
and joints are clean and in good condition.
B. Check that the AC power source is working correctly. To complete this safely, we
recommending trying the power source on another fridge or electrical appliance.
C. After completing a comprehensive check on all other potential causes, the AC rectifier may be
the cause and should be replaced.
The measured DC voltage is considerably less than the supply voltage.
A. Remove the DC power source from the fridge. Check that the fridge internal wires, terminals
and joints are clean and in good condition.
B. Check the voltage loss from the power source to the fridge socket is insignificant. Please note,
the voltage measured at the fridge socket should equal the voltage measured at the
compressor control unit.
C. After completing a comprehensive check on all other potential causes, the AC rectifier may be
the cause and should be replaced.
