SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
It is essential that the product user exercises care when using an electrical appliance. Listed
below are precautions which are essential for the safe use of any electrical appliance :
Read carefully and save all the instructions provided.

Always tune the power off at the power outlet before you remove the plug.
Remove by grasping the plug do not pull on the cord.

Tune the power off and remove the plug when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked and

Do not let the power cord of the appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench top or touch

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR IONIC HAIR-DRYER
This hair-dryer must not come into contact with water or any other liquid. Always switch off your
hair-dryer at the power outlet and remove the plug when not in use. Do not wind the cord around
the hair-dryer when not in use. Do not use or store your hair-dryer near tubs, basins, baths or other
vessels which contain water. When the hair-dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since
the proximity of water presents a hazard, even when the unit is switched off.

Squeeze excess moisture from your hair and towel dry.
Comb hair free of all tangles with a wide tooth comb.
Using your hair-dryer
1. Insert the plug into a 230V or 115V power outlet and turn the power on.
Plug preset to 230V. If need to set manually to 115V or vice versa,
you may change the voltage by using pin as shown on the image.
2. Select the desired heat/speed setting -1 for controlled styling and finishing, or 2 for all over drying.
3. Using your fingers or a brush, style your hair as usual dry.
4. To set your style, finish with a burst of cool shot.
To activate the cool shot, press the cool shot button and hold for the desired length of time.
The Ionic feature
The built-in ion generator automatically produces a constant stream of negative ions whenever
your hair-dryer is in use.
Turn your hair-dryer off after use. Always turn your hair-dryer off and remove the plug from the
power outlet before cleaning. Do not immerse your hair-dryer in water or any other liquid. To
clean the exterior of your hair-dryer, simply wipe over with a damp cloth and wipe dry. To clean
the filter detach the rear cover by gripping it at the sides, and pulling firmly. Remove any hair
and fluff from inside the rear cover and on the rear of the hair-dryer. Replace the rear cover by
pushing it back into position. Clean the rear cover regularly to ensure the cleanliness of internal
components is maintained to maximise the long life performance of your hair-dryer. Do not wind
the power cord around the hair-dryer, as this may cause strain and damage the wiring.
The Zepter Ionic Hair-dryer warranty against defects in material and workmanship lasts one year
from the date of purchase. During this warranty period your local retailer will take care of repair, or at
their discretion, will care of replacement of the defective unit without charge.
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from accidents, misuse, alterations, abuse, lack of
reasonable care, or performance of services or repairs by an unauthorized service center.
The manufacturer and the distributor of Zepter Ionic Hair-dryer do not assume responsibility for any
damage caused by misuse or purpose which is not described in these instructions.
INFORMATION FOR USERS
In accordance with European Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE on the restriction of the use
of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal. The barred symbol
of the rubbish bin shown on the equipment indicates that, at the end of its useful life, the product must be
collected separately from other waste.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities;
therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal centres
specialising in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of
purchasing new similar equipment, on a one for one basis. The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the
equipment sent to be recycled, treated and disposal of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible
negative effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making up the apparatus.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get
into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. Contact your local government for information regarding the
collection systems available.
Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative sanctions
according to the laws in force.
