Installation Instructions
Hood Preparation & Installation
At least two installers are required due to the weight
and size of the hood.
CAUTION
1. Remove baffle filter, all packing materials, and
protective film prior to installation. Use caution
during installation to prevent scratches or damage
to the stainless steel.
2. Prepare custom cabinet enclosure by following the
dimensions in FIG. B and the chart below.
3. If ducting vertically, continue to step 4. If ducting
horizontally, remove the motor by (8) screws, knock
out the rear duct 6” hole, orient the motor for
horizontal ducting, and reinstall motor and bracket,
FIG. C, page 14.
4. Install hood into cabinet. FIG D, page 14.
NOTE:
Wood blocking may need to be added to
cabinet base if additional support is needed.
5. Secure front panel to cabinet. FIG E, page 14.
6. Finalize electrical and ductwork. Seal ductwork with
certified aluminum duct tape.
7. Switch power on and check for leaks around duct
tape. Test for proper operation.
8. Reinstall filter.
