About HDMI-Resolution
HDMI resolution: HDTV is currently active in three for-
mats (image resolution) called 1080p, 1080i and 720p,
which are named after the number of horizontal lines
the image contains. The letter i stands for ”interlaced
scanned” (”interlaced” that is, half imaging systems)
and p stands for ”progressive scanned” (progressive, or
non-interlaced).
