2.12. Usingslightpressurebrieflyturninganti-clockwise,findthestartofthethread
and then tighten the threaded ring in a clockwise direction with a torque of 20
Nm. The counter also rotates.
2.13. Carefullysetlineunderpressurebyopeningthemainstopvalve.Carefully
check seal and function (forward running). If the meter is running backwards the
FMTwasnotinstalledinaccordancewiththeflowdirection.Thendismantlethe
capsule,insertthereverseflowpreventerintotheotheropening,re-assemble
the capsule rotated by 180°.
2.14. Turn the counter to the reading position. Slide the cap for sealing over the coun-
ter. Insert the plastic seals (anti-dismantling protection) with the barbed hook
inwards into the sealing hole of the cap and snap into place (Fig. 8).
2.15. Inthecaseofaflush-mountedinstallation,taketherosetteoutofthepackaging
and if required due to the large insertion depth, insert one to three extension
connectors. A special rosette must be ordered for installation depths below 25
mm. Press the rosette (possibly with extension sleeves) onto the counter cap on
the wall until the end stop (Fig. 9).
2.16. For wet room installations with an extension connection, a rosette disk can also
be inserted and this must be ordered separately.
3. Meter exchange
3.1. Block and empty the line by closing the mains stop valve.
3.2. Inthecaseofflush-mountedinstallations,removetherosette(possiblywiththe
extension connectors).
3.3. Open the two plastic seals in the cap of the meter by turning a small screwdriver
and remove the cap.
3.4. Push the assembly side of the installation wrench with the linear grooves over
the pull-out cams to the meter and turn anti-clockwise, until the pins of the
installation wrench snap in place in the threaded ring. Unscrew the threaded
ring in an anti-clockwise motion. The counter also rotates.
3.5. Remove the installation wrench and slide over the pull-out cams with the pull-
ing side and rotate. Then use the installation wrench to remove the meter from
the housing.
3.6. Cleananydirtfromthehousing,inparticularthesealingsurfaceoftheO-ring.
3.7. Assemblethenewmeasuringinsert,asdescribedinNo.2.6to2.16.Carefully
check seal and function.
4. Minomess® micro installation wrench
The pulling side has two angled longitudinal slots to cover the pull-out cams of the
counter. The assembly side of the wrench for assembling the threaded ring has four
pinsandfourlineargroovesoffsetby45°(Fig.10).
5. User safeguard
A user safeguard (adhesive label, seal etc.) must be used to detect whether the
measuring capsule has been removed from the connection interface or to prevent an
unauthorised removal.
