Measurement and Transmission Interval
The sensor does multiple measurements per minute and stores the
current CO
2
value in ppm (parts per million) every 15 minutes. After 45
minutes, the sensor sends the last three stored CO
2
values via
LoRaWAN®. If the measuring range is exceeded, the battery is too low or
a hardware error is detected, the sensor immediately sends a status
packet.
Historical data can be viewed and thresholds can be set via the respective
IoT platform.
Screen Saver
If the device is charged and is not being operated for 4 minutes, the device
switches to screen saver mode to protect the display from burning out.
During this process the current display of CO
2
value moves back and forth
on the screen.
Turn Off the Display
Briefly press the power button on the back of the device to switch off the
display. The LED indicator and data transmission remain active. The display
cannot be switched off if a CO
2
content > 1000ppm is measured.
Power Off
Press the power button on the back of the device for 4 seconds to switch off
the device.
Energy Saving Mode
When the device is being operated via the integrated battery, the display
automatically switches off after 4 minutes without operation. This saves
energy and achieves a longer battery life.
The CO
2
concentration can always be checked on the LED indicator during
this time.
Reset Network Settings
If the device cannot connect to the LoRaWAN® network, you can reset the
network settings. To do so press and hold the concave bar on the top of
the product for at least 8 seconds until the signal icon on the screen starts
flashing. The network has been reset successfully.
Reset Sensor
If the sensor measures abnormal CO
2
levels, you can reset the sensor using
a manual calibration. To do this, press and hold the concave bar on the
top of the device and the power button on the back of the device simul
-
taneously for at least 8 seconds.
Now the device will take about 12 minutes to reset and reinitialize the
sensor.
Notice:
Perform this procedure out in fresh air or directly next to an open windo
Do not breathe in the direction of the device.
