Pre-operation Setup (Continued)

Overview for the On-Screen Display

This manual gives basic instructions for operating the
DVD Recorder. Some DVDs require specific operation
or allow only limited operation during playback. When
this occurs, the symbol 

appears on the TV screen,

indicating that the operation is not permitted by the DVD
Recorder or is not available on the disc.

Displaying Information While Watching TV

While viewing the TV channels, press ENTER or
DISPLAY to display/remove the information 
displayed on-screen.

e.g., when a DVD-RW in VR mode is inserted.

Disc Information On-screen Display

You can display various information about the disc
loaded on-screen.

Press DISPLAY repeatedly to display/change the
information displayed on-screen.

To remove the On-Screen Display, press 
DISPLAY repeatedly until it disappears.

detailed explanations of displays as a disc is 
playing.

If no button is pressed for 20 seconds, the On-Screen
