1. Introduction
The digital multimeter complies with the electrical safety regulations for electronic measuring
instruments and digital handheld multimeters, as well as the EN 61010-1 (CAT III 600 V,
pollution degree 2) required by the international standard.
Please read the following manual before use and follow all applicable safety standards.
2. Precautions
In order to safely use this device, carefully read this instruction manual.
Warning
- Whi le using the multimeter pay attention as a wrong usage can result in electric
shock and damage the device. Respect safety precautions and usage instructions. Follow the instructions
hereafter in order to safely enjoy all the functions of this device.
To avoid body injuries and electrical shock damaging the device, follow these safety instructions:
• Never try to measure a voltage out of the measuring range of the device (600V CAT III).
• Do not use the multimeter if the test lead is damaged or if metal parts are exposed.
• Avoid using the multimeter directly under the sun light or at high temperatures.
• In case of doubt always use the highest measure range.
• In case of measuring voltage higher than 30 V~ or 60 V , be careful to avoid any electrical shock.
• Before measuring current, first power off the equipment and circuit to measure, completely discharge
all capacitors, then power on after having plugged the test leads.
• When replacing the battery, respect its polarity.
• Use the device only in dry indoors with low mechanical shock risks.
