Important Information Before Use
>
Durability
Although the Zendure A-series battery is designed to be extremely durable, and it can be run
over by a car in our tests, please do not attempt to stage your own durability trials.
>
Energy Efficiency and
Charging Capability
For most batteries on the market, energy loss during charging reduces the effective capacity
by up to 30% of the total power. That means their total energy conversion rate (TECR) is
only 70%. Zendure A-Series batteries have an amazing 80% TECR.
To approximate how many times a Zendure battery can charge your device, multiply the
battery's capacity by 0.8, and then divide it by the capacity of your device. (This formula
assumes that the device's nominal voltage is about 3.7V, is charged via the 1A output port in
a 25°C temperature, and is powered off and not in use when being charged. Actual results
may vary slightly depending on whether the device is in use, output used, temperature, how
much heat the device's battery generates, the condition of the device, etc)
>
Charge-through Function
In charge-through mode, the total maximum input is 2A. Depending on the output current
that's been drawn, Zendure will be charged at what's left. For instance, if the output is 0.5A,
Zendure will be charged at 1.5A; if the output is 1A, Zendure will be charged at 1A; if the
output is 1.5A, Zendure will be charged at 0.5A; but if the total output exceeds 1.5A, Zendure
will not be charged until the other devices stop asking for additional power.

Auto Charge-check Timer and Long-term Standby
Zendure A-series is the world’s first external battery with a built-in auto timer that checks if it
needs to charge the connected device every 60 minutes, a great solution for long-term GPS
use, time-lapse photography or many other situations. However, this consumes some extra
energy if there’s a USB connection, so please remember to unplug all USB cables for
long-term standby. Please charge the external battery at least once every 6 months.
>
Dual USB Output
If you want to charge two devices at the same time, please use the black port to charge your
iPad or tablets and the blue port to charge your smartphones, otherwise it might trigger the
multi-protection system because the total current drawn is over 2.1A. The same applies
when you are using the charge-through function.
