In order to achieve best possible results we recommend
using exclusively original Zelmer accessories. They have
been specially designed for this product.
Please read these instructions carefully. Pay special attention
to important safety instructions. Keep this User’s Guide for
future reference.
Important safety instructions
The following information concerns your health and safety.
Please read the instructions for use and important safety
instructions completely before using the curling brush.
Injury risk! Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance.
Do not leave a switched on appliance unattended. Fire

risk.
Do not place the curling brush on wet surfaces or clothing
●
while it is operating.
Always make sure that the air inlets and outlets are not
●
blocked.
Do not immerse the curling brush, cord or plug into
●
water. Never put away the curling brush downwards so
that it can fall into water while it is operating.
Do not place or store the appliance in a place where it
●
can fall into water or be splashed with it.
Do not use while bathing.
●
The curling brush should only be used to dry hair.
●
Make sure the accessories are dry on the inside and
●
outside before attaching them to the curling brush.
If the curling brush is damaged while operating unplug it
●
immediately and return it to a service center.
Never try to remove lint or foreign bodies from the inside
●
of the curling brush using sharp objects (e.g. a comb).
Never drop or insert any objects into the openings of the
●
curling brush.
Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it
●
on a soft surface such as a bed or couch, where the air
openings may be blocked. Store free of hair, etc.
Never use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)
●
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately.
●
Do not reach into the water while the unit is plugged in.
Do not use a curling brush that has fallen into water.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
●
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
●
play with the appliance.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means
●
of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged, it should
be replaced by the producer or at a proper service point
or by a qualified person in order to avoid any hazards.
The appliance can be repaired by qualified staff only.
Incorrectly performed repair may cause serious hazard
to the user. In case of any defects, it is advised to return
the appliance to an authorised service facility.
Check the cord regularly. The insulation cannot be

damaged or broken.
Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

During operation the curling brush becomes hot. Do not
●
place it near flammable materials.
Allow the curling brush to cool before putting it away.
●
Do not direct hot air toward eyes, hands or other heat-
●
sensitive areas.
Do not use while sleeping.
●
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug grasp the
●
plug.
Risks exist even if the curling brush is switched off.
●
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
Do not wrap the cord around the appliance (risk of
●
breaking the cord).
Do not cover the curling brush as it might cause heat
●
accumulating inside of it.
In case of handing over the appliance to another person
●
please inform that person about these instructions for
use. When it comes to curling brushes which exploitation
durability has expired, they should be disposed
of according to the valid environmental protection
regulations according to the Waste Management Bill.
The curling brush cannot be disposed of with household
waste. Please consult a local waste management
center.
Attachments may be hot during and after use. Allow them

to cool before handling.
Do not use attachments that are not recommended.
●
Always unplug the curling brush from the electrical outlet
●
after use.
If the curling brush is used in the bathroom, always
●
unplug it from the electrical outlet after use, as it may
pose a risk even when the appliance is switched off.
Use the appliance only for its intended use as described
●
in this manual.
CAUTION: To ensure additional protection we advise
you to install a residual current device (RCD) in the
bathroom’s electrical circuit with the rated amperage
not exceeding 30 mA. In order to do so please contact
a qualified electrician.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near
water, bathtub, pool or other water tank.
WARNING: Follow these safety instructions to avoid
the risk of burns, electric shock or fire.
