Temperature setting
Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet.

The

display (4)
glows for a moment and you can hear single sound sig
-
nal. Then the
display (4)
go off.
Press the
–
button on the left side of
the display, to switch it on you can hear a single
sound signal. Number, type of garment and amount
of dots referring to the temperature level.
How to fill the water
Disconnect the iron
–
supply cord (13)
from mains supply outlet.
Release the
–
Water Inlet Cover (8)
and fill water through the water inlet
hole with
water tank (14)
included.
Fill up to the ‘Max’ level marked on the side of water tank.
–
For best result, it is advisable to use demineralised water or distilled
water. Do not use chemically descaled water or any other liquids.
In order to reduce the temperature press
–
button many times
(a sound signal goes with every click). The labels shall appear on dis
-
play in reverse sequence.
Dots
–
indicate the temperature setting.
Preparation for operation – first ironing
Remove any protective films or sticker from the
–
soleplate (12)
and the
cabinet.
Unwind and straighten the
–
power cord (13)
.
Fill the iron with demineralised or distilled water, as described in
–
“How
to fill water”
.
The

Press

button to set the temperature on display
.
When the temperature is reached the number stops blinking and you
–
can hear a single sound signal.
The iron is ready to use. Steam starts coming out from the holes in the
–
sole plate. Begin first time ironing with an old towel.
When the water tank is empty and there is no more steam produced; the
–
preparation work is completed. The iron is now ready for proper use.

To set the temperature use

In order to increase the temperature press

times (a sound signal goes with every click). The following labels shall
appear on display: acrylic, nylon, silk, polyester, blend, wool, cotton,
jeans, linen.
