Rear Panel Connections:

Analog Inputs.  Each input consists of six equivalent chan-

nels. The channels are colored and labeled for convenience,

however all six channels are of equivalent bandwidth and

functionality, and may be interchanged as desired.
Analog Outputs.
Digital Audio Inputs. Each input has an associated digital

audio channel with both a Coax and an Optical connection.

Only one of the two types of inputs can be active at any

time. The HDS4. will auto-select between the two types of

signals. If a signal is supplied to both the Coax and Optical

inputs, the Coax signal is given priority.
DC Power Jack Connector. Plug in the supplied power

adapter into this jack.
Digital Audio Outputs. All digital audio inputs are automat-

ically conver ted to both Coax and Optical outputs. All three

outputs are available at all times, and are all individually

buffered to allow driving three different digital audio de -

vices simultaneously.
