Switching on
• Switch on the device by pressing the power switch (

, Fig. 5) and wait
until it has booted.

Do not switch off the device before initialization has been
completed. It may cause motor movement error.
•
If the device is PIN-protected, enter the PIN (Fig. 13).

You will not be able to use the device if you do not know the user
PIN. Contact your device administrator.

Open the printer cover ( 3 , Fig. 3) and check that the printing paper is
properly inserted and sufficient paper is available. Insert new paper if
needed (refer to Section Maintenance , page 107).
•
Check that the chin rest height control is working properly.
•
Check that the stage locking system ( 4 , Fig. 3) is released.
•
Ensure that the dust cap ( 3 , Fig. 4) has been removed.
•
If required, perform a test eye measurement ( 2 , Fig. 1)

Use suitable chin rest paper.
