The fastening screw (3, Fig. 5) fastens the binocular tube or other
component to the microscope body.
The standard equipment includes eyepieces (6, Fig. 5) with a magnification
of 10x. An eyepiece with a reticle can be used for taking measurements and
to aid focusing.
