Connectors only for the HD video control unit
1 Remote connection socket (HD)
Here you can connect a foot switch (optional).
You can configure the foot switch for the integral HD video camera
(HD ready 720p) as described on Page 151 or for the integrated video
camera live & streaming (Full HD 1080p) as described on Page 189.
2 Connection for the camera head
The system cable connects the camera installed in the surgical microscope
with the video unit.
Switch off the video unit before you plug or unplug the system cable
into / from the video unit. The camera can be destroyed if you plug the
video unit in or unplug it under voltage.
3 "HDMI" video output
Digital connection for monitors or recorders from the consumer segment.
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is used to transfer digital
video data.
4 "YPbPr" video output
Analog connection for high-resolution monitors or TV devices
(YPbPr-cable see order data, Page 254).
5 SD video
"Composite" (FBAS) video output. Analog connection for video
components.
6 USB port (USB 2.0)
Use only USB data carriers that meet at least the USB 2.0 specification.
7 Service interface
Reserved for ZEISS Service personnel.
8 LAN input / output
Network 100 Mbit
9 Video signal Y/C output
Use the Y/C if only an analog SD monitor is available and there is no HD
monitor.
No menus and status information (header bar and footer bar) are
displayed in the Y/C video signal output. For operation and configuration,
use an HD video signal output (DVI or YPbPr).
We recommend using high-resolution monitors.
