Startup and Shutdown of the System

Recent…

is pressed the last couple of databases that were in use will be displayed (Fig. 9). Click

on the one you want to select. By pressing the

Choose…

button, Windows Explorer will open.

Search for the file folder where the database is stored and open it. Select it for use. Select a
database suited for your purpose from the Explorer window.

You can also change the database after having booted the system. To do this, choose from the

File

menu of the main tool area

Login…

and the

Login Zen

dialog will appear. Select the database by

pressing

Choose…

or

Recent…

and the system restarts.

Shutdown Procedure

Do not switch the computer off until the ZEN software is closed and the Windows 7 operating
system has completely shut down. The program and/or data files may otherwise be lost.

dialog window, activate

Laser off

on

Exit

in the

Shutdown

tab (see section

3.4.3 Maintain – System Options

). The lasers will then

automatically be switched off when you exit the ZEN software.
