for each of the options discussed.
When faced with a hard drive database problem, your options are:
A. Attempt to fix immediately (FIX NOW).
B. Delay attempt to fix problem, continue patient testing, and save results to a USB storage
device only (USB ONLY).
C. When time permits, engage the rebuild utility (REBUILD HARD DISK DATABASE).
D. Restore database from a USB storage device, from your network file server, or backup
floppy disks if above options fail (BACK UP/RESTORE).
CAUTION: If a hard drive database failure occurs while attempting to save test results,
do not recycle power at this time. This action will cause you to lose the results from
the test just completed. Always elect either to fix the problem immediately, or to save
results to a USB storage device temporarily until you have time to address the
database problem.
