Interactive Mode:
Focus stabilization running
Find Surface
:
Finds the surface of the sample holder and adjusts the focus position of the microscope to this surface.
How effective this is depends on the objective and the sample characteristics. If Definite Focus.2 is not
able to detect an adequate signal from the sample surface, the initial focus position will be restored.
Store Focus / Recall Focus
Stores and recalls the focus position using Definite Focus.2.
The stored position will be deleted if the objective is changed.

SWITCHING OFF SAFELY

To
switch off
, briefly press the On/Off push-button of the controller. A beep will indicate that the
system has been switched off.
•
The message "Shutting down" is displayed, followed by "Finished", then the device will be switched
off completely.
•
To disconnect the controller from the mains, switch off the power switch on the rear.
If Definite Focus.2 is switched off after being connected to the microscope, it will be displayed in the
touchscreen of Axio Observer, but it can no longer be used.
