10 Troubleshooting

Sound on Mute Select the mute/unmute on

or HDb2000 defaults to
“AC3” audio which is not
supported by the MXe
In Maestro on the “i-series”
change the Dig. Audio field
to MP2 via the Device page
with “advanced controls”
checked. Note – i-series
will require a reboot after
this configuration change
is made.
Remote
control is not
working
The battery is exhausted Replace the remote control’s
batteries
Remote control is not
facing or visible to ZvMXE
sense window
Reorient ZvMXE sense
window and remote control
No channels
found
No IP address assigned to
the ZvMXE
Connect ZvMXE to network
with DHCP server or assign
