Basic Installation
Factory default settings allow HDb2380 modulators to broadcast 8 SD sources with composite video and analog audio on 2 RF
channels over coax cabling, for reception at connected HDTVs. HDb2380 supports DVB-C cable format only.
1. Apply power.
2. Connect a Composite Video source to any Composite Video Input of the HDb2380.
3. Connect the Analog Audio.
4. Connect the Coax Output of the HDb2380 to your RF network.
CAUTION: The RF output power for each channel is 45dBmV, which may overpower an HDTV if
directly connected. We recommend you keep the power at each HDTV below +20dBmV.
5. Set the TVs to Cable (not Air or Antenna) and DVB-C, inputs.
Specify Symbol Rate 6750 KS/sec.
6. Tune HDTVs to the TV channels outlined in Table 2.
Network ID: 12338 (factory default)
NOTE: Many TVs require a full channel scan
to find the channels.
See the Configuration section on pages 6-7
for instructions on changing the settings.
