4. Connections (Fig. 3)
Input:
The BALANCED INPUT (1) is equipped with a female XLR
jack and accepts microphone or line level signals. This
input can be operated balanced or unbalanced.
The input amplifier has a high common-mode rejection
(CMRR) and is safeguarded against electrostatic discharge.
A specially developed r.f. absorber protects the internal
circuits and the signal source from high-frequency oscilla-
tion.
Output:
The fullrange signal can always be obtained from the
BALANCED OUTPUT which is equipped with a female XLR
connector. This connector allows interconnection of sever-
al systems, e.g. more VECTOR S3A units or other active
