CAsEs:
• Where a transgingival implant design is indicated
• Where temporary and final components are
needed for simple and fast prosthetic restoration
• Requiring increased primary stability for early or immediate implant function*
• With atrophied ridges where augmentation is not desired or indicated,
or cases with multiple implant restorations in the posterior region
• Where a cylindrical implant design is advantageous –
particularly in the posterior region
• Where the local bone must be maximized —
implant lengths available range from 8 to 18 mm
mACRo-DEsIGN
XiVE plus Implant’s cylinder shape design for internal condensation of the peri-implant bone,
can prevent trauma and increase primary implant stability, even in spongy bone.
mICRo-DEsIGN
The innovative thread design of XiVE plus Implants, when combined with the class-specific
bone preparation of the implant site, can provide torque stabilization in all bone qualities.
sURFACE DEsIGN
DENTSPLY Friadent pioneered the first micro-retentive grit-blasted/acid-etched titanium
surface over 15 years ago. Today, this surface design still stands true. Our latest Implant
Surface Technology, FRIADENT plus, is the result of osseointegration research, combined
with DENTSPLY Friadent’s expertise in the field of micro- and macro- structured surfaces.
Scientists and clinicians agree, implant surfaces can be an essential component for the
long-term success of implant treatment, due to interactions at the implant-to-bone interface.
They also agree that initial cellular mechanisms such as migration, adhesion, proliferation
and differentiation have an important impact on bone formation, quality, density and bone-
to-implant contact. DENTSPLY Friadent focused its research on developing a homogenous
surface morphology that may positively influence cell attachment and bone apposition.
* Immediate loading is restricted to the anterior mandible, based on four intraforaminally
placed implants, and not indicated for single, unsplinted implants. Patients must be subject
for dental treatment with endosseous implants.

All FRIADENT Screw Implants are gamma-sterilized and packaged in transparent double-glass
vials. The color-coded cap is sealed with an adhesive label.
• Transparent Outer Vial (Non-Sterile) –
Provides clear view of contents
• Color-Coded Cap (Non-Sterile) –
Identifies the implant length
• Sterile Inner Vial with Implant Retaining Stopper –
Provides fast, safe, no-touch placement of the implant
• Removable Labels –
Provide easy and reliable documentation

“ToUCh-FREE” ImplANT DElIVERy:
1. Remove the outer vial cap (non-sterile) and drop the sterile inner vial onto
the surgical tray.
2. Place the XiVE TG Ratchet or Hand Piece Implant Driver onto the adapter screw.
3. Remove the implant without touching the inner vial.
4. Remove the implant holder.
5. Insert the XiVE TG Implant, as outlined in the Instructions For Use.
The undamaged label indicates that the sterile package
has not been opened and ensures product sterility.
