200g green lentils
1L water
1 morteau sausage
1 small carrot
1 small yelow onion
5 cloves
Peel onion and spike with cloves. Peel and slice carrot. Cut
Morteau sausage in 3. Pour water in bowl, add all other
ingridients with onion last, and cook on “Het” until water
boils. Reduce to “Wärme” and cook for about 30 minutes.
Take out onion, remove cloves and cut in 4. Return to
bowl. Remove 2 pieces of sausage. Blend soup on 1or 2 to
produce thick soup. Serve soup accompained by slices of
Morteau sausage. Morteau sausage can be replaced with
haddock or bacon.
Winter vegetable soup with croutons
Preparation: 10 min
Cooking: 30 min
1 large carrot
1 leek
200g green cabbage
1 yellow onion
1 turnip
3 sprigs parsley
Salt and pepper
200g croutons
Peel vegetables. Wash amd slice leek. Cut carrot, turnip,
onion and cabbage in pieces. Julienne parsley. Pour all
ingridients into a bowl. Add salt and pepper. Cover with
water and cook on “Het” until water boils. Then reduce to
