13. Place the platform
centrally on the
fifth rungs (from
the top) and lock
the claws in place on
the opposite side.
14. Whilst sitting on
the platform, attach
the two guardrails by
pushing them outwards
until the claws snap
onto the stiles securely.
The following steps only
apply to scaffold towers of
size 4.
15. Install the end and
side toeboards (see
"Assembling scaffold
towers of size 2"
on page 41).
16. Remove the temporary
boards from the sixth
rungs.

17. Insert the two-metre
push-on end frames
and push them in until
the spring clips snap
into place.
18. Install the diagonal
braces (see "Layout of
the scaffold towers"
on page 55).
19. Repeat the steps
described above to
install the guardrails
and platform.
20. Install the end and side
toeboards.
21. Remove the platform
from the sixth rungs.
Then install it on
the lowermost rungs
and lock it in place.
22. Install the horizontal
brace on the sixth
rungs, opposite
the folding frame.
