Problem

Possible solution

After the washing cycle,

there are some deter-

gent residues in the dis-

penser drawer.

• Make sure that the flap is in the correct position (UP for powder deter-

gent - DOWN for liquid detergent).

• Make sure you have used the detergent dispenser according the indi-

cations given in this user manual.

The appliance does not

dry or does not dry cor-

rectly.

• Turn the water tap on.

• Make sure the drain filter is not clogged.

• Reduce the laundry load.

• Make sure you have set the correct cycle. if necessary, set again a

short drying time.

The laundry is full of dif-

ferent colours fluff.

The fabrics washed in the previous cycle released fluff of a different col-

our:

• The drying phase helps to eliminate some fluff.

• Clean the clothes with a fluff remover.

In case of an excessive amount of fluff in the drum run the special pro-

gramme to clean it (refer to “Fluff in the fabrics" for more details).

After the check, activate the appliance. The programme continues from the point

of interruption.

If the problem occurs again, contact the Authorised Service Centre.

The necessary data for the service centre are on the rating plate.

EMERGENCY DOOR OPENING
In case of power failure or appliance failure the

appliance door remains locked. The washing

programme continues, when the power is restored.

If the door remains locked in case of failure, it is

possible to open it using the emergency unlock

feature.
Before opening the door:

CAUTION! Make sure that the

water temperature and the

laundry are not hot. Wait till they

cool down, if necessary.

CAUTION! Make sure that the

drum is not rotating. Wait till the

drum stops rotating, if necessary.

Make sure that the water level

inside the drum is not too high.

Proceed with an emergency drain,

if necessary (refer to «Emergency

drain» in «Care and cleaning»

chapter).

To open the door, proceed as follows:

1. Turn the selector to   position to switch the

appliance off.

2. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.

3. Open the filter flap.

4. Keep the emergency unlock trigger pulled

downward and, at the same time, open the

appliance door.

5. Take out the laundry and then close the

appliance door.

6. Close the filter flap.
