4.2.2 Grill Burner and Roasting Skewer

The operation of the Grill burner is not dividedinto temperature grades, it only operates in
a single mode to create a constant source of heat. To do this, the valve of the grill burner
should be rotated until the designated marker for grill.
Ignition  of  the  grill  burner  can  be  performed  in  2  ways,  similliar  to  the  oven  burner.

Ignition by Spark Button :

If your oven is equipped with a spark button, you should press the

grill valve and rotate the valve knob to the grill point, while also pressing the ignition button.
As the valve is equipped with a Flame Failure Device (FFD), please follow the procedures
explained under the clause 4.3. The spark button will automatically create sparks between
the  spark  ignitor  and  the  burner  causing  the  ignition  occurs,  the  spark  button  can  be
released.

Manual Ignition  :

If your oven is not equipped by any of the ignition aids mentioned above,

or if there is an electrical blackout where you cannot use these aids, you shoud perform a
manual ignition. For a manual ignition, you should press the grill valve and rotate the valve
knob to the grill point, while holding a flame source (i.e. a lighter or match,etc) just aside the
foremost  burner  holes  blaced  on  either  side  of  the  grill  burner. As  soon  as  you  see  the
burner is ignited, you can release the flame source. As the valve is equipped with a Flame
Failure  Device  (FFD),  please  follow  the  procedures  explained  under  the  clause  4.3.
In  any  case,  while  the  grill  burner  is  operated,  the  grill  protection  lid  must  be  placed
between the oven panel and the top edge of the oven door. The grill burner should never
be operated whitout the grill protection lid, as this will cause damage to the oven due to
overheating in the control panel, as well as posing danger to the user and young children
who come in contact with the oven.

CAUTION : Accessible parts may be hot when the grill is in use. Young children should be kept away.

Roasting Skewer :

This function is used to roast chicken or other kind of meat on a skewer.

To use this function, place the skewer through the meat, by thrusting the skewer inside the
meat. Fix the meat tightly in its place by using the two forks placed on the skewer. Place a
tray on the 3rd shelf. Place the skewer housing on the tray as appropriate, and place the
skewer  on  the  housing,  while  the  tip  of  the  skewer  is  inserted  into  the  rotor  hole.  Push
therotary skewer button to start the rotor.
While  roastig  food  using  the  skewer,  grill  burner  must  be  operated.  The  obligation  of
using the grill protection lid also holds for this function.

CAUTION :

If  the  burner  has  not  lit  after  15  seconds,  stop  operating  the  device,  and  open  the

compartment door and/or wait at least 1 minute before attempting a further ignition of the
burner.

In the event of the burner flames being accidentally extinguished, turn off the burner control

and do not attempt to re-ignite the burner at least one minute.

4.2 USE OF OVEN PART - GAS COOKERS

4.2.1 Oven Burner

Ignition of the oven burner can be performed in two ways, depending on the model of your
cooker:

Ignition by Spark Button :

If your oven is equipped with a spark button, you should press

the  oven  valve  and  rotate  the  valve  knob  to  the  point  where  you  want  to  perform  the
cooking,  while  also  pressing  the  ignition  button. As  the  valve  is  equipped  with  a  Flame
Failure  Device  (FFD),  please  follow  the  procedures  explained  under  the  clause  4.3.
Take spark button will automatically create sparks between the spark ignitor and the burner,
causing  the  ignition  to  occur. As  soon  as  the  ignition  occurs,  the  spark  button  can  be
released.
