1. After plugging the power cord into the wall outlet,
press
the ON/OFF button. The screen displays “ON”
and the screen light indicators switch on.
2. Press the Programme selection button
, select
your heating temperature by pressing the button for
increasing the temperature
or for lowering the
temperature
.
3. Wait for the heating cycle to start.
4. Press the Programme selection button
again,
sele
ct your “Keep Warm” temperature by pressing
the button for increasing the temperature
or for
lowering the temperature
.
Press the Programme selection button
again to
confirm.
5. An audible signal will be heard when the water
reaches the programmed temperature.
When you remove the jug and then put it back on the
base, the screen flashes for 2 minutes showing the
last temperature setting. Press the ON/OFF button to
access the programmed "Keep Warm" mode again. If
no action is taken, the screen flashes 10 times and
the kettle will automatically go into standby mode.
6. The appliance will remain in
“Keep Warm” for 2
hours, then will automatically go into standby mode.
To stop this function, press the ON/OFF button.
Making tea
1.
Take the tea filter out of the filter tray by lifting it
by its handle.
2.
Fill the jug with drinking water up to the maximum
mark (1.5 L for tea) indicated on the glass surface.
3.
Put the tea leaves or tea bag inside the filter.
4.
Close the cover lid.
5.
Place the jug on the power base.
6.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
7.
Press the ON/OFF button, then press the
Programme selection button
and select your
heating temperature by pressing the button for
increasing the temperature
or for lowering the
temperature
.
8.
At the end of heating cycle, an audible signal will
be heard and the appliance will switch off. The light
indicators will switch off.
9.
Leave the tea to brew for the recommended time
(see the brewing guide below or refer to the
recommendations on the packaging of your tea
and/or in the tea guide provided).
10.
After brewing, remove the filter.
11.
Carefully pour the brewed tea into a cup while
holding the lid on the jug.
12.
Make sure you unplug the power cord from the
wall outlet after use.
13.
Clean your kettle after the it has cooled down
completely.

Overheating protection
The tea kettle is fitted with an overheating protection
system that switches on if you accidentally use the
appliance when it is empty or has very little water.
In this case, it automatically stops working, and all
the lights switch off.
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and allow
the kettle to cool down completely for at least 30
minutes before reusing it.
