If the unit is in its case, it is best to leave it in the case, and not disassemble the thermal
pads and copper tape. Since the case metalwork does not have a hole for J5 on the rear
panel, it is recommended to install the mating shell using tweezers, and route the wires out
where possible. The mating shell should be plugged straight into the connector

Serial ports are mapped to software devices as follows:
The RS-232 port (back panel 2.5 mm jack) is /dev/ttyAMA0
The RS-485 port (J5 on connector PCB) is /dev/ttyAMA1
The VISCA control port for Sony camera is /dev/ttyAMA2
