4.0 Z3-MVP-02 Demo Instructions
By default, the Z3-MVP-02 is pre-programmed to decode 1-channel at 1080p60 via real time
streaming protocol (RTP). The source is assumed to be a TI DM368 IP Network Camera.
Step 1:
Connect supplied 12V power supply to Z3-MVP-02.
Step 2:
Plug HDMI cable from the Z3-MVP-02 to input on TV.
Step 3:
Connect Ethernet from Z3-MVP-02 to an IP video source.
Step 4:
Plug-in serial cable
and NULL modem connector
from Z3-MVP-02 to PC’s COM port.
Step 5
: Setup teraterm on PC for 115k, 8, N, 1, 0ms/char, 100ms/line
Step 6
: Connect the other end of the serial cable to the console port on Z3-MVP-02 board. The
console port is the 2.5mm jack next to the power switch.
Step 7:
Power on the Z3-MVP-02 system.
Step 8:
The system menu will appear. Use the serial menu to change settings.
Step 9:
Press “S” to start streaming.
Step 10:
Video should appear on TV.
