50
(Constant Bitrate) means that a stable encoding
bitrate is ensured within the bitrate statistical time.
Video Quality Mode*
Low Latency
Balanced
High Quality
Selects quality mode for video encoder. Low Latency
optimizes the encoder settings for latency at the
expense of quality and High Quality optimizes the
encoder settings for quality at the expense of latency.
Video Interlace Mode*
(H265(HEVC) Only)
Combined
Separated
In the case of interlaced inputs this selects how the
unit formats the output stream. In Combined mode
the top and bottom fields are combined into a single
frame. In separated mode the fields are set
separately for an HEVC stream. The decoder will need
to support field separated mode. The HE265-DEC from
Z3 supports field separated mode.
Gradual Data Refresh
*
True
False
Select
True
to enable refresh of the frame data
gradually.
Video Bitrate
(RTP, RTSP and RTMP
Only)
2K
–
40M (
4M
)
Textbox for entering video bitrate. For example:
1M = 1,000,000 bits per second
1000k = 1,000,000 bits per second
2.5M = Not a Valid Format
Frame Rate
Full
Half
Quarter
Sixth
Used to encode at less than the input frame rate (for
example, an input frame rate of 30fps with “Half”
selected would cause an output stream of 15fps). If
interlaced input is used then this is used to reduce
the number of fields being encoded. [
GOP Size
*
5
–
240 Frames
(
120 Frames
)
I-frame frequency. The number of frames in each
Group of Pictures (GOP) [
Audio Enable
True
False
Selecting “True” enables encode of audio along with
v
ideo. Selecting “False” disable encode of audio.
Audio Setup (if Audio Enable is set to True)
Codec
ARM AACLC
ARM AACLC MPEG2
ARM AACHE
ARM AACHE V2
Codec to be used for audio encode.
