Connect HDMI out of Brite-View Box to the HDMI in of the TV One 3G SDI converter.

Connect Ethernet from Z3-DM8169-MOD to a PC.

Set the PC IP address to 192.168.1.110 – This is the default address the Z3-DMx8169-VI-RPS streams
to.

Connect 12V Power supply to the Z3-DM8169-MOD.
*Before powering up the Z3-DM8169-VI-RPS system, make sure the Brite-View Box and TV One
converter are running.

Open up a console window

Power on the Z3-DM8169-VI-RPS system

After booting up and running through the beginning of the sequence, a menu will appear. You will have
the option to manually change the mode of the system to encode or decode mode. Below is a
screenshot of a terminal console of the system in encode mode. To change the mode to decode mode,
press “M”.
