This section details the main elements, of the ST950S Plus

+

system, that are held within the controller

cabinet.

3.1. ST950S Plus

+

Controller Cabinet

below shows the ST950 controller CPU card fitted in a ST950S Cabinet

The Master Switch Panel and CIC card are installed on the right-hand side panel of the cabinet.

The 24V PSU, the two 48V PSUs along with the redundancy modules, collectively known as the Power
Bank, are installed on the left hand side panel of the cabinet.

The Controller Mounting Panel is installed in an equipment swing frame at the front of the cabinet; this
frame can be swung open to enable access to the rear of the frame and to the cards and components
installed in the cabinet. The Controller Mounting Panel contains the CPU and the optional MIMICS
panel.
