Connecting Cables and Probes

CAUTION
Do not apply a voltage exceeding the maximum input voltage to the input
terminal of the TA720. This may cause damage to the input section.
Note
When connecting a probe to the TA720 for the first time, perform phase correction of the
probe as described in section 3.6, “Calibrating the Probe (Phase Correction).” Failure to do
so will cause unstable gain across different frequencies, thereby preventing correct
measurement. Phase correction of the probe must be performed on each channel.
