Function
This module can be used to locally control shutters, blinds and motorised curtains by means of:
- buttons on the device;
- radio remote control.
It also allows radio centralisation (with code 5454816 or remote control) or wired (with code
5454818).
Compatibility
The MVR500EBRP module is compatible with all three-wire motors (common, opening,
closing). The limit switches may be either electric or electronic and set on the shutter itself.
If mechanical limit switches are used, the shutter travel is defined by mechanical stops. In
this case, the MVR500EBRP module will detect an overload and immediately cut off power
to the motor. The MVR500EBRP module is also compatible with four-wire motors (phase,
neutral, up, down) in permanent up and down control mode.
It is not compatible with tubular motors with integrated radio receiver.

The module must be installed only by qualified personnel and into a place the end-user cannot access, according to the installing national rules.
In order to follow the safety rules, the module must be connected to a power line that is upstream protected by a magnetothermic switch 10A C
curve. Wire the module only when power is off. In three-phase installations the powering phase of the modules and of the driver wire should be
the same. Contact Customer Care for three-phase system wiring diagrams.
1. Connect the mains power between the ‘L’ and ‘N’ Terminals.
2. Connect the motor wires to the ‘MN’, UP’ (opening), ‘DW’ (closing) terminals. Check that the 'UP’ terminal is actually connected to
the opening wire. Do not rely on the colours of the motor wires. To check if the motor was connected correctly, carry out

short
presses on the pushbutton and ensure that the shutter opens.
4
short presses should cause the shutter to close. If the operation is
the opposite of the above, invert the connections of the two motor wires on the MVR500EBPRER module.

Centralisation can also be
achieved using a pilot and a
module code 5454818.
Centralisation can be used to control multiple MVR500EBRP
devices with an additional radio control and the shutter
centralisation module code 5454816 or a remote control.
