06 Care (Wood)
The E-PIPE nex KLASSIK is available in different versions. Here are 2 care
instructions on how to proceed with real-wood-mods:
Note: The wood was oiled and polished with Carnauba-Wax before Shipping. This
layer can/will get lost with frequent use.
Possibility 1 ( quick care): Remove the atomizer and the battery-cover. Put a small
drop of olive-oil ( household) on a cotton cloth an gently rub the pipe with it. Please
be careful not to get any oil into the 510er or the battery compartment! Too much oil
can and will affect the Dual Touch Sensor!
Possibility 2 ( intensive care, only for extreme patina): Remove the atomizer and
the battery-cover. A 600-1000 abrasive fleece is needed. Cover all metal parts with
tape, preferably transparent tape (be careful because the glue will stick back!). Lay
the pipe down on a towel and carefully remove the patina with the fleece. Then
gently rub the pipe with a cotton cloth and a small drop of olive-oil. Please proceed
carefully, so that no oil gets into the 510er or the battery compartment!
