9. If the supply cord or any other element is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer
’s service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
10. Do not use the heater around gasoline, paint or other flammable
liquids.
11. Keep a distance of at least 50 cm between the heater and the
flammable materials, including furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes, curtains because they may cause fire.
12. Do not cover the heater and the power cord.
13. Do not move the appliance by pulling the power cable.
14. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
15. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath,
shower, swimming pool or other water sources when it could fall into the
water.
16. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface or mount
it on the wall. Operating the product in any other position could cause a
hazard.
Keep the appliance more than 50 cm away from the walls, ceiling or
other appliances. Mount the device at a height above 10 cm from the
floor.
17. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There
are no user-serviceable parts inside.
18. Avoid using power cord extensions.
19. If using an extension lead ensure you do not exceed the maximum
rated running wattage/load of the extension lead.
20. Turn the device off, and then disconnect it from mains when not in
use or when moving or cleaning.
21. Do not drop or hit the heater.
22. There may be trace of odor during the first few minutes of initial use.
This is normal and will quickly disappear.
23. Allow the heater to cool down completely before carrying and
cleaning.
24. Do not insert fingers or any objects into the unit as it may cause an
electric shock or injure or damage to the heater.
25. Do not put the remote, its batteries or any other objects on the
heater.
