Introduction for buttons on remote controller
Notes:
• This is a general use remote controller, it is used on multiple air conditioner models with multiple functions.
If you press a button on the remote, for a function not available on your model, the unit will continue to run
in its original settings.
• The air conditioner will make a sound when the power is turned on. Power indictor “ “ is ON (red icon).
After that, you can adjust settings for the air conditioner by using remote controller.
• When the system is turned on, pressing a button on the remote controller, the signal icon “
“ will appear
on the remote controller display. When a command is sent, the icon will blink once and the air conditioner
will give out a “de” sound, which indicates the command has been sent to the air conditioner.
• Under off status, set temperature and clock icon will appear on the remote controller display. (If timer on,
timer off and light functions are set, the corresponding icons will be displayed on the display of remote
controller at the same time.) When turned on, the display will show the corresponding function icons.
ON/OFF button
This button turns on or turn off the air conditioner. After turning on the air conditioner, the operation indicator
“ “ on the indoor unit’s display is ON (green indicator. The color may be different for different models), and
indoor unit will make a sound.
MODE button
Press this button to select your required operation mode.
• When selecting auto mode, the air conditioner will operate to factory settings. The set temperature can’t
be adjusted and will not appear on the display. Pressing the “FAN” button can adjust fan speed. Pressing
the “SWING” button can adjust fan blowing angle.
• After selecting COOL mode, the air conditioner will operate in cool mode. The cool icon “
“on indoor
unit will be ON. Press “ “ or “ “ button to adjust set temperature. Press “FAN” button to adjust fan
speed. Press “SWING” button to adjust fan blowing angle.
• After selecting dry mode, the air conditioner will operate at low speed. The dry (dehumidify) icon “
“ on
indoor unit will be ON. Under dry mode, fan speed cannot be adjusted. Press “SWING” button to adjust
fan blowing angle.
• When selecting fan mode, the air conditioner will only run the fan, with no cooling or heating. All indicators
are OFF. Press “FAN” button to adjust fan speed. Press “SWING” button to adjust fan blowing angle.
• When selecting heating mode, the air conditioner operates under heat mode. Heat indicator “
“ on
indoor unit will be ON. Press “ “ or “ “ button to adjust set temperature. Press “FAN” button to adjust fan
speed. Press “SWING” button to adjust fan blowing angle. (Cooling only units will not respond to heating
mode signal. If you set the heat mode with the remote control, pressing ON/OFF button will start up the
unit).
Notes:
• To prevent cold air from blowing, after starting up heating mode, indoor unit will delay 1~5 minutes before
blowing air (actual delay time is depend on indoor ambient temperature).
• Set temperature range available on the remote controller is 61~86 °F.
