Assembly

DOGbOne & shOCk mOuntinG assemblY  Now insert 15mm
reducers into shock and hammer into place with dead blow hammer.

Insert pinch bolts into

bottom of dogbone. Snug pinch bolts just tight enough to hold. They

will be completely tightened at a later step.

threaD PreP Yeti recommends prepping all bolt threads
at once on your work bench with Loctite or grease.  This will
ensure that all bolts are used in assembly.   The medium
strength (blue) Loctite formula along with proper torque is
ideal to keep the bolts snug.

DOGbOne & shOCk setuP

Slide bearings flush into bottom of

dogbone with shoulder facing out.

tip: Shoulder is part of bearing that sticks out.

DOGbOne & shOCk mOuntinG assemblY

Hang shock and dogbone

separately off of frame. Insert 31.0mm Ti female bolt through drive

side (the right side when standing behind the seat tube) for the shock.
Use Ti male bolt on non-drive side to tighten shock into place with 5mm
allen key.

tip: Don’t over-torque Ti bolts or they may fracture.

rear trianGle assemblY  Pull the shock and dogbone together so
that they line up.

Tip: If the spacing is too tight, loosen the pinch bolts. This will allow you
to get the proper spacing for the shock and dogbone. Now make sure
the bearings are flush against the shock reducers in the shock. Wait to
tighten down dogbone pinch bolts to keep the Ti studs from binding during
installation.

Press the bearings into the seatstays

of the rear triangle with shoulders facing in. Loctite pinch bolts and

tighten into seatstay of the rear triangle. Slide the swing arm over the main
pivot using the indentions in the swing arm to align.

tip: Wait to tighten down dogbone pinch bolts.  This will keep Ti stud from
binding during installation process.

rear trianGle assemblY

Install the dogbone using the 40.5mm

Ti female bolt and the Ti male bolt. With Yeti logo facing rear of frame

(dogbone looks C-shaped), use dead blow hammer to insert 40.5mm Ti
female bolt through top of dogbone that connects to dogbone mount on
frame. Use Ti male bolt on non-drive side to tighten dogbone into place
with 5mm allen key.

tip: If needed you can use dead blow hammer to help with female bolt
installation.

mOuntinG rear trianGle

Install the Fox Guide Pin in the

seatstays, dogbone and shock to hold and align the three together.

Use a dead blow hammer to hammer into place.
