AIR FILTER

Clean at least every 3 months. More often if operating in dusty conditions.

If the air filter is clogged with dust, performance will be adversely affected and if left unserviced, engine
damage can occur. Check and clean in the following manner:

• Clean the air filter cover with mild, sudsy water. Rinse and allow to dry.

• Install a new air filter element and reattach cover. Tighten screws.

• Remove the 5 screws on air filter and

remove the cover. Remove the 3
screws of the air filter and remove
element.

WARNING

Before and during service, inspect the element for rips.

A torn element must be replaced.

Make sure that the element is seated properly and no

foreign material can pass by it.
