I t is the responsi bility of the installer to ensure that the flue to be connected
is suitabl

for
the conditions
experienced
when burning natural or LPG gas.
Ideally it is recommended
that a minimum
height of 610mm from the stove should be
established
before any significant change in the direction of the flue.
Horizontal
or
negative gradients in the flue pipe should be avoided.
It is recommended
that the flue has a minimum
height
of 3 meters
.
Prior to installation

r should ensure that the flue is free from obstruction
and ideally a chimney
should be swept and subsequently
smoke tested
.
Ensure that an

dampers are fixed in a
permanently
open position
,
and that the chimney

flue
is, in the professional opinion of
the installer, of an overall suitability for the purpose intended

The DART

DARTMOOR
has no requirement
for additional ventilation
in the room in
accordance
with BS 5871 part
H
