Suggested email to your network administrator:

Hello,

We recently purchased new Yealink video conferencing hardware endpoint(s) from Easymeeting and
would like your help getting this set up. In order to do so, we need you to review and make the
necessary changes on our network/firewall and the requested information for each system. This will
need to be done for each system that we purchased.

Network Recommendations
For Yealink units, Easymeeting recommends static 1-to-1 NAT configurations.

You will need to create a

static 1-to-1 NAT policy from the public side of your firewall to the private side of the LAN.  Note, some
firewalls require you to create an additional policy to translate the private LAN to the public side of the
firewall.  They recommend that we refer to our firewall administration guide or our firewall
manufacturer with any questions.

They ask that you ensure any H.323 protocol inspection engines are disabled.  This includes, but is not
limited to, H.323, H.245, H.239 and H.225 inspection. Also ensure that we don't have any pre-existing
rules or services that may conflict with the recommendations given. They suggest that new,
bi-directional

rules for the ports listed below are created and clearly indicated for future reference.

Configure Port Mapping
You must forward the following ports to the public network on the firewall:

Function

Port

Protocol Type

H.323 registration port

1719

UDP

H.323 call port

1720

TCP

Audio, Video, and Data  media stream

50000-50499

TCP/UDP

Web management
(optional but recommended)

443

TCP

SIP (optional)

5060-5061

TCP/UDP

It is recommended that you forward the web management port (443/TCP) to the public network, so
that the Easymeeting Experts can remotely manage the device as added support/troubleshooting. We
HIGHLY

recommend that you change the default password of the device from “0000” and provide the

Easymeeting Service Center with the updated information.

Please provide us with the following information for each Yealink:
Dedicated public IP:
Subnet mask:
Gateway:
DNS:

If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach out to Easymeeting Support directly at
