Voicemail Main Menu Options

There are four main options within the voicemail system
(1,2,3,0). Use
Option 1
if you want to listen to your new messages.
Option 2
allows you to
change storage folders, where you archive past messages.
Option 3
is advanced options -
which adapts based upon previous decisions you have made. It is available as a main option
choice and also available under option 1 - checking messages.
Option 0
is for managing your
mailbox messages. This is where you will record items like your out-of-office messages, your
name, or your busy message.
Option 1 - Listening to and Managing New Messages
Press 1 for new messages
- Remember you will only use this option if you have new
messages. Once you select new messages the system will announce the time the message was
left and allow you to listen to the message. It will then also allow you to select:
• Press 3 - for advanced options - if you select advanced options you will access the options
listed below. If you don’t select advanced options, you will jump to the “Press 5” option
below.

Press 1 - Send a reply.
o
Press 3 - Hear envelope (date/time, phone number of caller).
o
Press 5 - Leave message for another user.
o
Press * - Return to main menu.
• Press 5 - repeat this message.
• Press 7 - delete/undelete this message - if you deleted this message during his voicemail
session the system will allow you to undelete it.
• Press 8 - forward the message to another user.
• Press 9 - Save the message to a folder.
o
Press 0 - New
o
Press 1 - Old
o
Press 2 - Work
o
Press 3 - Family
o
Press 4 – Friends
o
After you save the message the menu will return to “Press 3 for advanced options.”
Option 2 - Changing Message Folders and Retrieving Saved Messages
Press 2 to change folders

There are 5 default folders in the system in which you can save
messages. This allows you to store messages into logical folders:
• Press 0 - New Messages
• Press 1 - Old Messages
• Press 2 - Work Messages
• Press 3 - Family Messages
• Press 4 - Friends Messages
• Press * to return to main menu
