Meeting Password
Depending on how a conference call is set up, you might be required to enter a meeting
password to join the call. You can also require far-end systems to enter a meeting password to
prevent unauthorized participants from joining conference calls hosted by your system.
If you host a regular mode meeting, you need to configure password for meeting room 1. If you
host a VMR mode meeting, you need to configure passwords for meeting room 1 and meeting
room 2.
Note
To set up a meeting password via web user interface:
1.
Click on
Setting
->
Conference Setting
.
2.
Select
On
from the pull-down list of
Meeting Password
.
3.
Enter meeting password in the
Password
field.
4.
Click
Confirm
to accept the change.
Note
Joining the Meeting
Participants can dial
IP##meeting password
or
meeting password@IP
to join the meeting.
You can add specified users to the meeting whitelist. Users in the whitelist can dial your system
directly without meeting password. For more information on meeting whitelist, refer to
on page
If you select VMR Mode meeting, you must configure a meeting password for meeting room 2,
otherwise other people cannot join the VMR.
