Product setting, e.g. height of the work table should be adjusted for the person who will operate the product. Position the product 

so that there is no need to reach too far during operation. 

During operation, the operator should be facing the cutting edge of the band saw.  

Before starting work, designate the place of supply of food products to be cut and the place for the cut product stowage. 

Before connecting the product to the power supply and before starting work, make sure that all safety components are functioning 

correctly.  Check if the band saw pulley guard is closed. Check if the pusher can be moved freely. Make sure the band saw is 

tensioned properly.         

Operating instructions

When working use personal protective equipment including: eye protection, protective clothing such as apron, full upper footwear 

and non-slip sole. Wear hearing protections. 

Protective gloves should only be used in combination with a blade equipped with semi-circular cut-outs around.   

The band saw has a very sharp edge. Special care must be taken during operation and maintenance. Due to the risk of injury, 

protective gloves should be worn during operation and maintenance. Do not use chainmail gloves.  

Should any signs of damage to any part of the product be visible, stop using it. In this case, the product must be serviced at an 

authorised centre.

Avoid body contact with the cutting blade. Hold your hands only on the handles intended for this purpose when operating the 

product. Food products should only be moved in the direction of the blade with the aid of a pusher. It is forbidden to feed the food 

products directly by hand or by any means other than using the pusher. It is not allowed to modify or disassemble the pusher. 

Food products which are too small for the use of a pusher or inappropriate shape, e.g. spherical, cannot be cut with the machine.   

Use only accessories supplied with the product or original accessories and spare parts provided by the manufacturer. NEVER 

modify the parts to adapt the product.  

The product is not to be used by children. The product is not intended for use by people with impaired physical and/or mental 

abilities, or by people without experience in or understanding of the operation of the product. Children should not play with the 

product. Children should not be allowed to clean or maintain the product without the supervision of an adult.

Residual risks

Even if all safety precautions are followed during operation, the potential risk of injury remains. The following risks remain in 

relation to the design of the product. 

Noise-related injuries caused by prolonged or incorrect manner of work, or work with an improperly maintained tool.

Injuries associated with access to cutting equipment in unprotected cutting zones.  

PRODUCT OPERATION

Preparing for operation

The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging completely removed. 

It is recommended to keep the packaging, as it can be helpful for further transport and storage of the product. 

Check the product for damage. If any damage is detected, do not use the product until the damage has been repaired or the 

damaged components replaced with new ones that are free of defects. 

Clean the product according to the instructions speci

fi

 ed in the “Product cleaning and maintenance” section.

Caution!

 The elements of the cutting mechanism have been protected with grease for transport. The grease must be completely 

removed before the 

fi

 rst use of the product.

Position the product according to the instructions above.

Make sure that the power cord plug has been unplugged from the socket.

Caution! 

Replacement of parts, adjustment or maintenance of the product should only be performed with the grinder unplugged. 

The power cord must be unplugged from the socket.  

Check is the band saw is properly fastened. Open the saw guard by turning both locking knobs (II). Check if the band saw is 

aligned on the pulleys. If it needs adjustment use protective gloves to do so. 

Loosen the pulley tension by turning the tensioning knob. Align the band saw on the pulleys. The edge of the saw, without the 

blade, should make contact with the ori

fi

 ce on both pulleys (III). Turn the tensioning knob to set the band saw tension. It should 

not be possible to de

fl

 ect the band more than 1 cm from the nominal position (IV). 

Close the saw guard and secure it with both knobs 

Check if the pusher can be raised and lowered freely. 

Check if the cutting width adjustment can be moved freely. Unlock the position of the adjustment plate by unscrewing the knobs. 

Set the cutting width using the scale on the work table. Lock the position of the adjusting plate by tightening the locking knobs. 

Switching the product on and o

 

Make sure that the switch is in the “OFF – O” position by pressing the switch marked “O”. 

Check if no object or part of the body is in contact with the blade. 

Plug the power cord plug into the socket. 

Press the switch marked “I” to start the slicer. This will start the operation of the motor and start the movement of the band saw.
