Commence work in good physical and psychological condition. Pay attention to what is being done. Do not work
tired or under influence of drugs or alcohol. Even a short moment of distraction may cause serious injuries.
A hot soldering tip or nozzle of the torch must not be touched.
Do not leave the tool unattended, while hot. Make sure, the tool has been cooled to the ambient temperature before
it is stored.
The tool must be appropriately protected when idle. Store the tool in a closed, dry and well-ventilated room, which
cannot be entered by unauthorised persons.
In the case of fire, the first thing to be done is to stop the gas supply to the nozzle of the tool.
Do not install the soldering tip protector without being sure the soldering tip and the nozzle have been cooled.
The tool must not be modified and no accessories that are not specifically recommended by the supplier may be
installed. It is prohibited to use the tool if it is damaged in any way.
In the case of a gas leakage, turn the tool off immediately. Wait until the tool has completely cooled and protect it
simultaneously in a manner that prevents ignition of the leaking gas. Remove gas from the tank. Send the tool to
an authorised service point for repair.
The user is not allowed to service tools.
OPERATION OF THE TOOL
Filling the tank with gas
Use high-quality gas. The gas tank should be equipped with an appropriate adapter for the kind of valve.
Point the torch upwards. Place the outlet of the gas tank to the valve. Thrust the tank to the valve. Fill for
approximately 15 seconds.
Leave the torch for a few minutes so that the pressure of the gas in the tank can stabilise.
Starting the soldering tool
Attention! Do not touch the nozzle while starting the torch.
Before starting the soldering tool, make sure the outlet of the nozzle do not touch any object or part of the body.
Adjust the gas regulator, placing it in its middle position. You may hear the gas coming out. Press the gas
regulator.
If necessary, adjust the height of the flame with the gas regulator.
The temperature of the flame may be adjusted using the air inlet control ring.
In order to turn the torch off, move the gas regulator to the minimum position.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before you commence maintenance actions, make sure the torch has been cooled.
The tool does not require any specialist maintenance. The casing of the torch should be cleaned with a soft, clean
cloth or with compressed air, whose pressure must not exceed 0.3 MPa.
Do not use chemical substances and cleaning liquids to clean the tool.
