convex lens" gathers the light into one
vertical column, having therefore a "focal
line" rather lhan a "focal point". The
resulting p ic t u r e does not change in its
vertical dimensions but is compressed hori­
zontally.
This refracted vision is then
registered on the film through the standard
lens to which the Yoshica-Scope Lens is
attached. When projected, this process is
reversed and the horizontolly-cor:pressed,
object recorded on the film is magnified
through the Yoshico-Scope Lens attached
to the front of the standard lens on the
projector, end the object then assumes its
original normal shape.
