The Yashica-Scope Lens is designed on the same
principle as that of the Cinemascope. If you simply
screw the Yashica-Scope Lens into the adapter
ring that .is fitted into the forward end of the
taking lens, a wider area than the normal field
of vision will be compressed horizontally into the
picture frame.
